About the Role

The incumbent reports to the Operations Manager of Policy Services - Partnership Distribution and is responsible for running the day to day management of all post inception requests and enquiries. He/she is required to ensure primary servicing objectives are met in terms of quality and efficient deliverables for in-forced policies to all partnering distribution channels.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Be the direct liaison officer between partnering distributors and AIA internal stakeholders, bridging the operation disparity between partnering firms to AIA standards of business.

  • Support distribution channel initiatives for process improvements, participate in providing conceptualised feedback for betterment of current processes.

  • Handle enquiries and requests from partners through calls and emails within the agreed turnaround time, managing of document submissions (tracking and routing).

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing by respective internal stakeholders, relaying completion updates and deliverables to hands of customers via partners.

  • Responsible for coordination and preparation and documenting of team meetings.

  • Maintain and update team manual to ensure all new workflows and guidelines are incorporated and documented accurately.

  • Uphold compliance to all IT and Compliance guidelines.

  • Any other duties as assigned by Manager and/or HOD.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Degree or Diploma

  • At least 3-5 years of experience (preferably in Insurance Operations) or Policy Servicing or equivalent experience in Life/A&H policies.

  • Related insurance qualifications such as M5, M9 and LOMA would be an advantage.

  • Able to work independently and with a team in a dynamic environment.

  • Self-starter who constantly strives for excellence.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively influence individuals and teams at all levels of the organization.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
