Analog Devices is currently recruiting for the role of Thermal Management System engineering lead within the Datacenter Infrastructure team.
Datacenter infrastructure encompasses the physical and virtual resources that support a data center's operations. This includes hardware like servers, storage, networking equipment, power systems, energy storage systems, and cooling systems, as well as software for system design, resource management and virtualization.
The Thermal Management Systems Engineer will contribute to the design, analysis, and optimization of thermal power management systems including flowrate, valve, and temperature monitoring and control systems within the small and large-scale data center infrastructure hardware. The role requires a minimum bachelors (masters preferred) educational level along with a minimum +4 years of expertise in thermal engineering, power distribution, thermal cooling/distribution technology. The position will collaborate cross functionally with mechanical, electrical, and software/firmware engineering teams to develop new innovative thermal control systems using ADI’s products. In addition, the candidate will have a key role in the marketing team analysis of market trends, customer-facing product development concepts, disruptive system solution proposals and opportunities through prototype development, and offer site team management duties. The plan is to meet ADI’s business growth expectations in the 2-5 year time horizon. Additionally, the candidate will work with segment and BU marketing teams to develop the business case behind investment strategies, and interface with the BU, providing inputs on new platform technology developments and addressing product roadmap needs.
