Job Description Summary:

This position will be responsible for providing sales management to IPSD 3rd Party customers, being able to manage with different sales channels: direct OEM’s accounts and distribution channels.

Develop and implement sales growth strategies that maximize the profitability of IPSD and deliver the business plan for the territory. Discuss with Dealers and Distributors business opportunities to seek into the territory and establish annual goals.

Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategies to maximize results by increasing volumes and profitability in the engine business for the Latin American region, through direct OEMs, Perkins distributors, and Cat dealers.

What you will do:

- Identify and develop new regional business opportunities to increase market share with existing customers and prospect new ones, maximizing value generation for the business

- Develop and support distribution channels in Latin America, ensuring profitability and long-term relationship maintenance

- Manage monthly and annual sales forecasts and keep systems updated

- Develop and coordinate new projects with direct OEM customers or through distributors and dealers, from opportunity identification to product specification according to customer demand

- Maintain monthly governance with stakeholders and NPI team and negotiate sales conditions

- Manage, negotiate, and apply engine price adjustments

- Conduct regular visits to current customers and prospect potential clients, as well as participate and support customers in trade shows and events
 

Skills:

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Account Management: Knowledge of account management; ability to manage day-to-day activities, providing services and support to existing clients.

Basic requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred: Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or International Trade

- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the industry

- Negotiation and engine knowledge skills are critical for this position

- Pre advanced English

Top candidates will also have:

- Intermediate Spanish

- Project management experience

- Advanced sales and negotiation experience in the industry

- International experience

- Basic knowledge of diesel engines or machinery

- Knowledge of Power BI

- This position requires up to 40% travel.

Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
