JOB DESCRIPTION:

YOUR ROLE AS A: Software Engineering Intern

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications

• Support the engineering team in writing clean, scalable, and efficient code

• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior engineers on feature development

• Contribute to API integrations, backend services, and database management where applicable

• Support software testing activities including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

• Assist in documenting technical processes, workflows, and system architecture

• Participate in agile development processes and team meetings

• Research and explore new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve development processes

• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and software quality guidelines

WHO YOU ARE:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

• Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar

• Familiarity with web development frameworks, mobile development, or backend systems is an added advantage

• Understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is preferred

• Agile thinker and capable of working effectively as part of a team

• Motivated to learn new technologies and frameworks
