The Therapeutic Medicine Center at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is a state-of-the-art adult infusion center.  With 2,200 square foot treatment space, the Center provides a patient-focused, relaxed, and peaceful environment for individuals receiving intravenous treatment for cancer, anemia, and other medical conditions. 

Medical Assistant – Therapeutic Medicine Center - Days

Make a lasting impression on patients at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens as a Medical Assistant in our Therapeutic Medicine Center. At NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, Medical Assistants are invaluable care providers. Provide compassionate patient focused care and improve the patient experience as you maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Feel the pride of going above and beyond to help others as you assist in patient preparation for treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, performing phlebotomy, collecting and preparing specimens for the labs.  Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care.  So bring your smile to work. Infuse energy and hospitality into a patient's day. Provide comfort and care as a medical assistant at NYP Queens, keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly.

This is a part-time day shift position,

Required Criteria

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Certification from an approved Medical Assistant program
• Strong Phlebotomy skills
