We are seeking an UX Architect, B2B to help us drive digital growth efforts with our B2B business.

You will join a team that will focus on growing our Dow Jones audience and subscription funnel, through new users and associated segments, while analyzing the platforms' role within the membership and advertising business ecosystem. You will be part of a trailblazing team, poised to get our world-class content in front of potential new subscribers.

In this role you will create experiences that engage and appeal to customers, enhance our usability and improve the user experience by creating meaningful user workflows, wireframes and thinking about the overall end to end journey within the product. The ideal candidate should have a passion for user-centric design and the tools and processes that make it happen.

Your expertise should bring an understanding of component-based design and design systems to contribute to a scalable, sustainable approach that enables speed to market, evolution, and optimization. This will be a highly collaborative role requiring partnerships with SMEs, UX Designers, Engineering, Research, and Product.

The UX Architect, B2B will report to the Senior Manager, UX Architecture, B2B. This role is a hybrid role based in our Barcelona office

Responsibilities:

  • As an UX Architect you will work closely with Product and UX Architecture team on the New Factiva experience. The ideal candidate should bring their experience in usability, information design, information architecture to create viable and holistic experiences.
  • Experience with complex data-rich workflows, platforms and design systems is a plus.
  • You will be responsible for taking projects from high level ideas to final deliverable by creating journey maps, detailed wireframes with functional specifications and designs for usability testing.
  • Contribute to identifying common patterns (modular design) and creating interaction patterns for reusable libraries within the design system.
  • As a champion for accessibility, work with the accessibility lead in making sure standards are implemented and documented on all components/workflows within the product.
  • The role requires high level collaboration and partnership with UX Design, Research, Product and Technology teams.
  • Independently deliver on projects and work with others on the team, while keeping the user and their needs in the forefront to create viable solutions.

Required Skill Set:

  • 1-3 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong grasp of HFI, HCI and UX principles
  • Understanding of best practices for mobile, web-based and responsive design
  • Experience with component-based design
  • Experience working with Design Systems
  • Experience working in Agile
  • Experience working with Figma
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience and UX skills, illustrating step by step solutions for features
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Plus

  • Experience in the design of News or Financial Services
  • Previous work on subscription and membership flows
  • Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and compliance
