High school diploma/GED, plus two (2) years of customer service or healthcare experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of office equipment and Microsoft Office Suite (Computer, Copier/Scan/Fax, Word, Excel).
Must have a valid Arkansas driver’s license and be able to safely drive the Clinic van.
Must have the ability to safely lift and transport clinical equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, both occasionally and regularly, as required to support day-to-day clinical operations and patient care activities.
Experience with Workday. Experience with EPIC is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Perform patient registration at clinical sites, ensuring accuracy and completeness of appointment documentation, including billing information.
Support physicians and APRNs with computer connectivity and other clinical needs as required.
Coordinate patient flow efficiently among clinical staff to maintain smooth operations.
Request medical records to increase patient care and clinical efficiency, and maintain compliance with HIPAA standards at all times.
Input data into computer systems as requested to support clinical operations. Initiate clinical reports for clinicians to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
Provide scoring assistance during clinics using specialized computer software.
Complete and distribute patient documentation/information to the appropriate clinical staff.
Arrange and provide department van transportation according to the clinic schedule.
Adhere to established clinic timelines to ensure punctual service delivery.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure adequate coverage and continuity of clinic operations.
Prepare paperwork and equipment for clinics, including scanning and indexing of medical records.
Maintain adequate inventory levels by ensuring clinic supplies are consistently stocked and readily available for both clinics and vans on an ongoing basis.
Verify completion of billing and documentation forms.
Conduct insurance verification and explain patient benefits by running eligibility checks.
Request outside medical records and distribute documentation forms as instructed.
Send out final reports within two days of completion to ensure timely communication.
Input clinical recommendations into the DCFS CHRIS system as required.
Provide administrative and project support to the Clinic Director, Program Specialist, and Program Manager, including assistance with developing data for end-of-month reports and other assigned tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
