The forklift operator is responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials around the warehouse. Their primary responsibility includes loading and unloading warehouse materials, optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.

This position is on-site in our Mt Juliet facility. We have day, night, and weekend shifts available.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? 

  • Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.

  • Securing loads before transportation

  • Move materials around the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.

  • Stack materials in correct bays, ensuring loads are secured and properly stacked

  • Performing routine post and pre inspections to ensure suitable working condition of the forklift equipment

  • Operating and managing technical equipment

  • Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment

  • Picking and wrapping orders for shipment

  • Identifying workplace safety hazards

  • Adhering to safety management standards

  • Adhering to production schedules

  • Communicate with all levels within the organization

  • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency

  • Transporting materials to different locations within the facility

  • Assist supervisor with other warehouse or manufacturing duties as needed 

What are the requirements needed for this position? 

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Familiarity or previous certification with industrial equipment

  • Ability to operate forklift in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination

  • Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners

  • Good physical condition and ability to stand for a long time

  • Mathematical aptitude

  • Good organizational skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to accomplish tasks without supervision

  • Good written and verbal communication

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? 

  • Ability to work various shifts and schedules

Pay Range:

$16.57 - $26.51

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
