The Project Manager provides support in a variety of tasks related to project management and reporting under the direction of Corporate Systems Delivery Head. The project manager will also be working with the delivery leads within Corporate Systems & other leadership across GTS India to assist in planning & executing various organizational initiatives & administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Organisation head with documentation and administrative activities, and assist in leading the organizational initiatives as needed
  • Collaborate with delivery managers & leads on various initiatives for successful execution & completion of the initiatives.
  • Capture and record key notes/actions items from meetings/conference calls and follow up effectively with emails and phone calls
  • Facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all key participants.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Support risk and issue tracking and maintenance
  • Monitor and maintain project plans, timelines, communicate the timelines to everyone in the team timely and track the progress against the timelines.
  • Ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Ensuring all documentation is maintained appropriately and updated timely with latest updates.
  • Ensure that each team member has the required tools they need to meet the project deliveries. Raise any impediments identified & communicate the Risk immediately and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Support all aspects of Project Status Reporting & Management Reporting
  • Monitoring resource allocations and ensure time bookings for all employees within the organisation
  • Support training, accesses and orientation for new team members and make sure there is a clear & less dependent KT Plan & KT Documentation for new joiners.
  • Build and maintain positive cross-team relationships

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate verbally with virtual teams on conference calls and to write clear, concise and complete written documentation
  • Good organizational skills, ability to move from one task to another efficiently
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and on more than one initiative/project at a time
  • Ability to work with the teams located across multiple locations
  • Good knowledge of software development methodologies – Waterfall, Agile, Kanban
  • Proficient with MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Word
  • 10+ Yrs of experience in an Information Technology organisation
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
  • Good Listening Skills & presentation skills
  • Should possess Good Networking and Problem Solving Skills
