QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in communications, business management or related field required
12 years of experience in the broadcasting industry, including a production, programming or network/sports background. Live broadcast and/or production experience desirable
Knowledge of broadcast and live and International production
Five years of prior management experience
Excellent interpersonal, writing and presentation abilities
Knowledge of the game of golf is a plus
Second language is a plus. Strong communication and cross-cultural skills. Detail-oriented. Excellent teamwork and multitasking skills are a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
In conjunction with Broadcasting and International Media departments and PGA TOUR Studios, function as the television liaison between the World Feed and our International Broadcast Partners
In conjunction with the Corporate Marketing and Business Development Department, function as key liaison between the World Feed and its corporate sponsors, title sponsors and any other sponsor-related television issues
Manage on-site television related issues for PGA TOUR Studios produced World Feed
Work closely with Corporate Partnerships and Media Sales on all sales related items within the World Feed
Work closely with the Broadcast Technology and Analytics team on newly created interfaced graphics for the World Feed
Continuously evaluate the television presentation of World Feed and make recommendations to improve television product
Create weekly obligation document for the World Feed and Partners that includes, but not limited to PGA TOUR and sponsor messaging, PGA TOUR contractual obligations, etc.
Weekend on-call responsibility for all World Feed telecasts
Work directly with Manager of Talent Management on the recruiting of freelance on-air talent. Develop a creative strategy for sourcing qualified candidates. Manage reels and resumes and develop relationships with talent and agents
