This role is for a Consultant position in Data Science & Analytics - Integration and Deployment team.
What You'll Bring:
As a member of the Global Operations Data Science & Analytics (DSA) team, a Consultant will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Devise solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
- Guides the successful completion of major projects that impact cross-functional teams within their department.
- Creates complex model designs and solutions, and contributes to new product development, strategies, and best practices.
- May develop proof of concept or beta versions of the product or service with cross functional across the enterprise.
- Independently and proactively assists team and peers.
- Holds team and peers accountable and provides input on performance review when requested.
Impact You'll Make:
- Develop complex test plans, execute all test plans, and validate batch fulfillment system setup and output data.
- Analyze data and test results to maintain integrity throughout program lifecycle and ensure customer business needs are satisfied.
- Identify and implement best practice standards to ensure accurate execution to limit re-work across the team.
- Independently able to troubleshoot and resolve processing issues that may occur.
- Independently maintains accurate, efficient, and timely delivery of programs. Guides others in managing workload.
- Administer best practices and risk mitigation strategies.
- Creates complete solutions for all levels of program complexity and assists others with program development.
- Participates in large scale projects or leads small projects and/or subcomponents.
- Understands system behavior and technical tools for constructing and designing moderately complex solutions.
- Consult with business users on best practices.
- Makes judicious decisions which impact small projects and tasks.
- Able to represent the department with internal/external contacts.
- Applies expanded knowledge of credit industry, core business functions and technical tools to enhance existing business solutions and anticipates change.
- Shares knowledge with other business units.
- Proactively identify how product and/or system changes will affect model execution.Champions change across business operations.
- Understands how strategic goal measurements impact department level goals. Identifies initiatives to accomplish department goals.

Impact You'll Make:
What you will need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher in computer science / software development. A track record of academic excellence.
- Five (5) or more years of professional experience performing analytic/scientific software development work in Financial Services, Consumer Credit, or a related industry.
- Strong aptitude and interest in people-management and leadership roles.
- Hands-on expertise in software development and coding using C/C++. Experience in C#, Java, R and/or Python is a plus.
- Expert knowledge of software development lifecycle principles and quality assurance.
- Experience using other programming and data manipulation languages (like Ab-Initio, SQL, R, Apache Spark, etc.) also a positive.
- Versatile interpersonal and communication style with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within and outside the organization.
- A champion of change, able to influence others to adopt new concepts and practices.
- A critical thinker and creative problem solver
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
