About PingCAP

PingCAP has established a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region and China, delivering innovative database solutions to a diverse clientele. As we aggressively expand into the United States market, we are committed to providing cutting-edge products that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Our flagship product, TiDB, is a distributed SQL database that offers horizontal scalability, strong consistency, and high availability.

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Product Manager to lead the development of the Management Console for TiDB’s self-managed deployments. In this role, you will play a critical part in harmonizing the user interface across TiDB’s self-managed and cloud offerings, ensuring a consistent and seamless experience for users. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and customer success, to drive the product roadmap and deliver a console that aligns with the TiDB Cloud interface. This console will empower database administrators to efficiently manage, monitor, and optimize their TiDB instances, whether in self-managed or cloud environments.
We encourage people from underrepresented groups to apply. Come advance with us! In keeping with our values, no employee or applicant will face discrimination/harassment based on: race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, age, gender, marital domestic partner status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, or veteran status. PingCAP also strives to prevent other, subtler forms of inappropriate behavior (e.g., stereotyping) from ever gaining a foothold in our organization. Whether blatant or hidden, barriers to success have no place at PingCAP.
