L-Acoustics is undergoing a transformation to a learning organization embedding Education deeply in its internal processes and looking to offer further Education services to its extended ecosystem externally. In this context, the Education Division is creating the position of Head of Education Experience to lead a team of learning experts that define learning methods and standards, contributing to the transformation of L-Acoustics as a learning organization, facilitating career path creation and onboarding of new talents in a dynamic and quickly growing organization.
Responsibilities
The Head of Education Experience will be responsible for defining L-Acoustics standards to create engaging and interactive learning experiences that are:
Engaging – the learner will be motivated to complete the whole course
Effective – cover the necessary material in a meaningful way
Transformative – ultimately, it helps learners acquire new skills and knowledge
The team works alongside Education Programs Designers each operating on one of 5 themes (Sound, Industry, Business, Digital & AI, Human Skills), providing support on learning methods, learning technologies, digital resources and platforms according to defined standards.
More precisely, the Head of Education Experience will:
- Define education standards throughout lifetime of programs through learning methods and technologies
- Define preferred learning methods, assessment and certification strategies
- Select learning tools and technologies for onsite or online content delivery
- Oversee learning platforms selection and monitor their integration with front end (All Access, eStore) and back end (CRM, ERP, SIRH) environments, as well as third party catalogs (Udemy)
- Workflows and dashboards for feedback and programs efficiency evaluation
Design Education Programs that facilitate the transformation of L-Acoustics to a learning organization:
- Onboard education program managers from the métier teams having limited pedagogy experience,
- Support subject matter experts & sponsors in understanding their role in a course development process,
- Develop trainers to master their role in different learning formats and experiences
- Facilitate autonomous development of courses directly in the métier’s teams
Define Education standards in terms of project management and deliverables
- Define key steps in program development, from scoping to program delivery, including milestones
- Define deliverables at each step of the development process
- Create document templates in various formats (ppt, word, articulate, prezi, illustrator)
- Disseminate and translate strategies all the while ensuring the strategy is updated and adapted as per business needs.
Work alongside the Education Programs Director to liaise with stakeholders and build community partnerships to enhance program offerings covering L-Acoustics extended enterprise jobs and careers:
- Support the training specifications with Divisional Management and program sponsors
- Collect data alongside subjects matters experts and trainers
- Collect feedback from L-Acoustics products end users, customers and business partners
- Work on transitioning L-Acoustics to a learning company in close collaboration with HR & People development teams.
Manage and supervise Education Experience teams, providing guidance and professional development opportunities:
- Digital Learning Designers that work alongside Education Program Designers on one of 5 themes (Sound, Industry, Business, Digital & AI, Human Skills throughout the program lifecycle)
- Business Application Owner, Education, ensuring best digital learning experiences and integration of digital learning tools into the L-Acoustics Digital Ecosystem.
Participate in the development of our Digital Education Platform based on the 360 Learning solution:
- Online educational platform for trainees, trainers, learning designers, and training center managers
- Online community management of more than 14000 professionals
Experience, skills & educational background
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in instructional design, educational technology or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in education
- Native or proficiency English
- Strong understanding of curriculum development, and assessment methods
