Job Summary

TYLin is seeking a BIM & Digital Delivery Manager for our Rail & Transit group to lead the integration and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows. Using platforms such as OpenRoads Designer, OpenRail Designer (ORD), Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, you’ll shape digital strategy, set standards, and mentor teams in one of the nation’s most dynamic transit markets.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Advance Digital Strategy: Develop and implement a sector-wide digital roadmap, driving continuous improvements in BIM workflows and design automation.

  • Ensure Excellence in Project Delivery: Oversee BIM standards, templates, and protocols to deliver high-quality digital outputs that meet client and regulatory requirements.

  • Training & Development: Establish and deliver training programs in ORD, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and BIM methodologies; mentor staff and onboard new team members.

  • Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with global digital leaders, project managers, and technical teams to align digital solutions with project goals; lead and expand the Rail & Transit BIM practice.

  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the go-to expert for BIM and digital delivery, representing TYLin with clients, agencies, and industry partners.

  • Technical Oversight: Provide project support on complex assignments, optimize digital models, coordinate software/hardware needs, and maintain QA/QC across deliverables.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years in BIM/CAD management, ideally in Rail & Transit or infrastructure.

  • Proficiency in OpenRoads/OpenRail Designer, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.

  • Proven track record in developing BIM/CAD standards, design automation, and digital delivery strategies.

  • Strong experience in training, mentoring, and staff development.

  • Familiarity with rail/transit agency standards; prior experience as BIM/PIM/Model Manager desirable.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $130,000 - $200,000 annually for this position and local market.
