Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create Minimum Viable Products that deliver business value quickly.

• Design test plans, strategies, scripts, execute tests, report results, and improve overall project quality.

• Apply creative thinking to solve user and team challenges with simple, holistic solutions.

• Maintain and enhance application quality standards.

• Promote best practices for coding standards and guidelines within teams.

• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tests for in-scope user stories.

• Report defects, participate in resolution, and compile test results for reporting.

• Review test plans and cases for accuracy and completeness.

• Implement testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.

• Liaise with customers and project teams to identify system requirements.

• Perform both automation and manual testing (functional/system integration).

• Adapt to new frameworks and technologies as needed.

• Ensure compliance with documented software processes throughout the lifecycle.

• Contribute to product development from ideation to release using DevOps best practices (CI/CD, automated testing).

• Create and update software documentation; implement best practices and standards.

• Mentor junior resources and support preparation of test metrics and reports.

• Coordinate with clients and onsite teams as required.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• 6–8 years of strong experience in automation framework development.

• 4+ years of experience developing frameworks using Cypress.

• 5+ years of experience with Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber automation framework.

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and languages such as Java and JavaScript.

• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Grid, Node.js, and related technologies.

• 3+ years of experience with AWS, Docker, and automation at scale.

• Proficiency with Maven/POM/TestNG (Selenium).

• Strong knowledge of XPath and CSS selectors.

• Experience with SQL and database handling.

• Familiarity with API testing using RestfulAPI/Postman/vREST (preferred).

• Experience integrating CI/CD platforms (TeamCity, Jenkins, Git) with automation tools.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla).

• Healthcare domain experience is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, and ability to work with ambiguous requirements.

• Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other programming languages (Python, C#, VBScript).

• Exposure to RPA tools and healthcare domain.

• Knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS.

• Cloud-based testing and migration experience.

• Microservices testing and test data management techniques.

• Location: Chennai or Bangalore
