Overview of Department

The Strategy & Business Planning team is directly led by NMGB’s Managing Director, and Its responsibility is to identify, lead and co-ordinate key, priority projects. Varied and cross-functional, the MD Office offers a dynamic working environment, oversight of the operational workings of the overall business, and exposure to the widest range of key stakeholders in the business.

As we embark on an exciting phase of growth and digital transformation, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Transformation Section Manager to lead our efforts in redefining and optimizing our business processes and systems.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies and “end to end” process design for business systems transformation aligned with the company's objectives and long-term vision.

  • Process Optimisation: Analyse current business processes and identify areas for large-scale improvement, streamlining, and automation to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and drive operational excellence, including by factoring in possibilities enabled by recent technological developments

  • Technology Integration: Evaluate existing systems and technologies, as well as assess emerging solutions, to recommend and implement integrated systems that support business goals and drive innovation.

  • Change Management: Lead change management initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams and guiding project personnel to ensure smooth progress on specific initiatives, providing training and support as needed.

  • Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project management of business systems transformation initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting on progress and outcomes.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gather requirements, communicate progress, and solicit feedback, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.  Influence executives and key decision makers by leveraging experience and logical problem solving and project management skills.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles to successful transformation and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business systems and processes, monitoring performance and making adjustments as necessary to drive continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in business systems analysis, process optimization, and technology integration, preferably within the automotive industry or a related sector.

  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading complex transformation initiatives from conception to implementation.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project management, process mapping, data analysis, and system implementation.

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) and/or business process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) is a plus.

  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Tableau and  Microsoft Power Automate  is desirable
