The Job

As part of our Global Supply Management- Indirect team,  Regional Category Manager (RCM) will work with Asia Indirect team driving over USD300M indirect spending in the region and delivering YOY productivity with partnership with SBD affiliates, incl. marketing, engineering and supply chain on the indirect related projects, incl. MRO, facility, capex, subcontracts management, professional service, temp labor, marketing ,OPS, building construction, real estate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive indirect spending $300M in Asia with productivity of $6M results with Indirect Asia team
  • Partner with SBD affiliates, incl. marketing, engineering and supply chain on the indirect related projects, incl. MRO, facility, capex, subcontracts management, professional service, temp labor, marketing ,OPS, building construction, real estate
  • Manage RFQ, purchasing contract, costing analysis, cost reduction, productivity driven and working capital improvement.
  • Perform both strategic and operational capabilities including global sourcing, project management, supplier management, risk management, etc.
  • Work with suppliers on annual cost reduction & payment term improvement to meet Company target
  • Perform systems incl. E-Procurement/Contracts (Docusign)/Icertics/Sievo etc.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS

*Bachelor’s and above degree preferrable in mechanical or engineering related

*8+ years of experience in indirect category management including sourcing & procurement, risk management, project management, with proven results under complex and pressured circumstances

*Strong technology, engineering, and systems integration practices in automotive, tools and construction industry

*8+ years proven working experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, comprehensive understanding of commercial terms and conditions related to procurement of goods and services in multinational enterprise

*Experience and good understanding of supply contracts regarding management of statement of work requirements and supplier deliverables

*Solid experience of supplier sourcing, development and management, including supplier survey, supplier performance evaluation and improvement.

*Experienced project leader with strong managerial & organizational skills and with ability to make sound business judgments related to strategic supply philosophies and initiatives

* Strong communication skills & team player to effectively collaborate with stakeholders cross functions , culture and all levels to achieve business goals

*Proficiency in English communication skills in both spoken and written

*Excellent experience in softwares such as Excel, PowerPoint, Project management, ERP system, Power BI

*Knowledge of IATF16949, QC080000, ISO14001, ISO45001, AS9100, CPSM and PMP is highly preferred
