As part of the Finance function, your work can make an immediate impact. The Financial Analyst (FA) Program is a two-year entry level leadership developmental rotational program which introduces college graduates to Citi Finance through diversified experiences. This Program offers a unique perspective providing development opportunities in Citi Finance while supporting various disciplines and businesses. Finance is comprised of various disciplines, including Controllers, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, and the Finance Chief Operating Office. Finance is:

• The guardian and communicator of key financial information and controls for Citi, serving both an internal and external client base.
• The driver of franchise-level decisions on capital planning, liquidity, budgeting, tax, strategic direction and policy management.
• A critical business partner to each Global Product, Region and Discipline, providing the data and analysis to enable Citi's leaders to make sound decisions in support of the business' objectives.

We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.

All FAs participate in a comprehensive training program in July and August. Training begins with a Citi orientation followed by technical training and soft skills training including, presentation skills, communication skills and leadership skills. This training will facilitate the ability to immediately contribute to their initial rotation.

Your time here will look something like this...

The FA program offers two one-year rotations and upon successful completion of the 24-month program, FAs may be considered for off-program placement in Citi Finance. In both rotations, FAs will have an opportunity to broaden skill sets, develop analytical skills, increase knowledge in different disciplines (Controllers, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, Finance Chief Operating Office, and business-aligned Chief Finance Offices), build professional networks and leadership capabilities. This rotation process helps FAs develop a solid knowledge base and broad range of skills while preparing them to take on future leadership roles in Citi Finance. Success in the FA program is a solid first step towards a successful career at Citi. Throughout the program, FAs will accelerate their learning and contribute to Finance priorities by gaining experiences through rotations and placements:

• FAs are placed in a specific role within one of the Finance disciplines. For prior Summer FAs, the rotation is typically in a new discipline to maximize development opportunities. During each rotation, FAs work closely with management teams and are provided the opportunity to add value to Citi through responsibilities including product control, financial closings and consolidations, developing financial controls, management reporting, planning and analysis, and management of balance sheets and liquidity.
• The goal of the rotational program is to help broaden finance skills, knowledge of the organization and expand networks.
• Upon successful completion of the program, FAs are considered for off-program placements within Citi Finance.

We want to hear from you if...

• You are currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics (graduating in December 2025 - June 2026)
• You currently maintain a GPA of 3.3 or above
• You will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.
• You are creative in solving problems and are intellectually curious
• You have a strategic and analytical mindset
• You are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, quick-thinking and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
• You are technologically proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills
• You are focused on achieving group and client objectives and able to build and maintain relationships
• You are familiar with process improvement
