New York-Presbyterian (NYP) has a long tradition of bringing hope, health and healing to our communities. NYP’s commitment to addressing the specific needs of its local communities shines brightly through the work of its Division of Community and Population Health. The Maternal and Child Health Programs represents a collaborative of programs designed to improve health, development, and wellness outcomes for the maternal-infant dyad. Included in this portfolio is the Mom and Baby Bus: a mobile health unit, funded through the March of Dimes, aiming to be a bridge care for family planning, pregnancy, post-partum and newborn care for women and birthing persons not connected to healthcare, especially those that are undocumented and experiencing homelessness.

Program Lead – Mom and Baby Bus – Grant Funded

The Program Lead functions as the point person for the Mom and Baby Bus. They are responsible for managing the administrative and programmatic responsibilities specific to this initiative including day-to-day operation of program, relationship building with community based organizations and NYP stakeholders, data collection, reporting, and grant management. Additionally, this role will work collaboratively with colleagues across the NYP enterprise. This position will require travel throughout Brooklyn and Queens to support the Bus as it serves local communities.

This is a grant funded role. 

Preferred Criteria

  • Master’s Degree        
  • Knowledge of maternal and child health programs
  • Experience in community/stakeholder organizing in underserved areas
  • Bilingual in Spanish

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Experience in program development, implementation and evaluation
  • Experience working in a community setting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills and a high degree of flexibility
  • Ability to function independently with minimal supervision

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

$76,000-$99,500/Annual
