As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of comprehensive solutions. You engage in planning activities that span multiple disciplines, focusing on accelerating project timelines while maintaining high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. Your role includes continuous testing efforts that cover security aspects, application programming interfaces, and regression scenarios. You develop and implement automation strategies and scripts, while also managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, you actively participate in code reviews, track and report defects, and contribute to ongoing improvements in testing processes to support overall project success. Experience: 3–5 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop ServiceNow solutions across IT Service Management (ITSM) and HR Service Delivery (HRSD).
- Configure and maintain MID Servers to enable secure integration with on-premises systems.
- Implement and support SSO (Single Sign-On) and LDAP integrations for user authentication and directory services.
- Develop custom applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and service portals.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external tools (REST/SOAP APIs, web services, or third-party applications).
- Perform platform upgrades and patching while ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain documentation, technical specifications, and support procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of ServiceNow development and administration experience.
- Strong expertise in ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalog).
- Hands-on experience with HRSD module configuration and case management.
- Proven knowledge of MID Server configuration for integrations.
- Experience with SSO (SAML) and LDAP directory integrations.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML/CSS, and AngularJS (for Service Portal).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Scoped Applications.
- Good understanding of ITIL practices.
Preferred/Optional Skills:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist (ITSM/HRSD).
- Knowledge of scripting for automation and performance tuning.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives and deliverables.

- Continuously evaluate testing tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies including functional, regression, and security testing.
- Ability to configure and manage test environments and data to simulate real-world scenarios.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and reporting tools to facilitate clear communication and resolution.
- Capability to participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in ServiceNow.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
