About the Role
Report to: Head of Customer & Technology Planning and Activation

THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for a Strategic Planning & Performance Management, Specialist who will initiate strategic planning processes, develop implementation roadmap, and oversee the operational performance, including the portfolio of initiatives and benefits realization across Customer & Technology domains. The position will also support the execution and adoption of the company's strategic initiatives and prepare materials for business performance reviews and executive meetings.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning (40%)
- Initiate and manage the strategic planning processes for annual business cycle ensuring alignment with enterprise vision and objectives
- Where required, conduct research, environmental scan and procure intelligence within AIA Group or external sources for holistic view of market landscapes and best practices
- Support the development of 3-year implementation roadmap for Customer & Technology programs and initiatives to achieve business objectives
- Effectively collaborate with related business areas to translate roadmap into robust execution plans
- Foresee obstacles in delivery and proactively take actions to prevent risks, minimize impact and overcome roadblocks
Performance Management (30%)
- Responsible for the preparation the periodic reporting and commentaries of Customer & Technology performance and initiatives status to local and GO management (MBR, QBR, RCE updates…)
- Responsible for managing, monitoring, and reporting on the overall health of Customer & Technology initiatives, including overall performance, costs, outcomes, risks, issues, dependencies, benefits realization and adoption status.
- Update leadership on progress of programs regularly and escalate issues for management decision where required
- Responsible for the contents preparation, action tracking and ad-hoc analysis and arrange business performance reviews, executive meetings and Steer-CO
Delivery and Execution (20%)
- Where required, support the development of business case for new initiatives
- Represent the Business Owner and take responsibilities to translate business pain points into specific user stories and work as part of the project team to deliver business outcomes
- Participate in the development and validation of business solutions, concept and prototypes before implementation
Other (10%)
- Build effective relationships with other strategic pillars within AIA for strategy coherence and alignment across the enterprise
- Stay abreast of modern technology, digital customer solutions and best practices
- From business understanding and trends observed, leverage expertise to provide insights and recommendations to improve business process and operational efficiencies
- Other tasks as assigned by line manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business planning and performance management. Experience in high-performing management consulting position is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation (design and delivery) skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent English verbal & written level
