Job Summary

Comcast is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of XOC (eXcellence in Operations Centers) Program Management. This key leadership role will drive the strategy and execution of Comcast's XOC network operations centers across three divisions. The successful candidate will bring deep subject matter expertise in network operations, a proven ability to connect strategic goals to execution, and experience in leading multi-year transformational initiatives.

This Director, XOC Program Management is a critical role within the SPDC (Strategy, Planning, Design & Construction) team, responsible for upgrading and growing the network. This role is based in Englewood, CO and is not approved for remote/virtual hiring.

This position is unable to provide work authorization sponsorship or immigration support now or in the future.

Core Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership & Execution:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the XOC network operations centers.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational goals with the overall business strategy.
    • Create and implement a multi-year transformational roadmap for XOC operations, ensuring alignment and accountability across divisions.
  • Operational Excellence:

    • Understand the operational management of XOC centers, ensuring high standards of performance and reliability and utilize key KPIs to monitor and measure the health
    • Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Drive initiatives that enhance the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of network operations.
    • Understand programmatic impacts on KPIs and align key success metrics to overarching goals and KPIs.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, customer experience teams to ensure seamless operation and integration.
    • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding XOC operations and performance.
    • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from front-line staff to senior executives.
    • Facilitate regular and effective meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, address challenges, and drive the progress of XOC initiatives.
  • Program Management:

    • Lead and manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Utilize program management best practices to track progress, manage risks, and ensure successful project execution.
    • Develop and manage timelines for XOC initiatives.
  • Product Management:

    • Understand features and capabilities and how they tie to key KPIs.
    • Ensure functionality and automation supports key end users and desired business outcomes
  • Change Management:

    • Drive change management initiatives to support the transformational roadmap.
    • Engage and motivate teams to embrace new processes and technologies.
    • Ensure smooth transition and adoption of new practices within the XOC operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
     
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in network operations or similar environments.
    • Proven track record of leading large-scale, transformational initiatives in a network operations setting.
    • Deep understanding of how network operations centers are run and managed.
  • Skills:
    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Superior project and program management capabilities.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to quickly connect the dots and execute with leadership.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $146,396.69 - $219,595.04

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
