POSITION SUMMARY:  

The Global HRIS Support Analyst is responsible for the support and maintenance of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Workforce time and attendance systems.  This position serves as a point of contact and subject matter expert for functional areas within the HCM system, such as Core HR, Performance, Compensation, Recruiting, Security, Business Processes, and Organizational Management. This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity, testing, changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also supports system new releases, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Payroll/Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and functional business leaders to define and develop requirements, re-engineer current processes, and implement new functionality in Workday

  • Serve as a Workday/Workforce subject matter expert with the ability to explain system configuration, data, and findings to a non-technical audience.

  • Partner with IT to support from a Project Management perspective between Country HR and Global IT to build end-to-end data integration configurations.

  • Plan and execute projects while providing ongoing progress communication and status updates

  • Develops and maintains documentation of HR systems business processes

  • Responsible for data review and monitoring

  • Leverage resources within Workday community to identify process to streamline and improve system functionality and usage

  • Participate in the ongoing design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Workday configuration

  • Diagnose and resolve issues (end-user, business process, security, etc.)

  • Develop and maintain simple to complex custom Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) using Workday Report Writer.

  • Run and distribute scheduled reports and support business requests for ad hoc report generation.

  • Collaborate with intern and external audit on data requirements and reporting for compliance.

  • Monitor and support inbound/outbound Workday HCM integrations to third party vendors including payroll and benefits providers.

  • Develop data upload templates to support business needs and perform uploads into Workday as needed using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)

  • Supports Workday HCM by researching and resolving issues, testing solutions, and communicating resolution with customers

  • Analyze errors and utilize resources such as Workday community to drive resolutions and identify root cause

  • Develop simple test plans and project plans for upgrades/new functionality

  • Actively participate in Workday Community by contributing to content, voting on Brainstorms, etc.

  • Develop training document related to Workday updates

  • Performs other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of progressive Workday experience.

  • Significant functional and technical experience in Workday HCM, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Security, Payroll and Benefits,

  • The ability to translate business objectives and unmet needs into a clear vision and roadmap, with rigorous requirements, then support the execution of that vision.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including experience working directly with users and collaborating across internal teams to deliver complex projects.

  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a tendency to challenge the status quo.

  • Team player with strong analytical and project management skills

  • Relentless focus on delivering product enhancements that will drive real, measurable impact to improve the employee experience.

  • Project management experience desired

  • Self-starter, able to drive work forward within an agile environment.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, flexible and willing to “lean-in” as and when required.

WORK TIMING & LOCATION:

  • Office – Pune (Pimple Saudagar), India.

  • Hybrid (3 days Work from Office, 2 days remote)

  • Typical Working Hours – 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST
