About the Role

As the Financial Analyst, you will work very closely to the North America Consumer Marketing teams to coordinate the forecast submission, analyzing/reporting actuals and proposing actions to improve profitability. You will also be a key player during the month-close process. The role supports major corporate and global initiatives. The North America region is headquartered in Northridge, CA with annual revenues of over $1 Billion. 


Your Team

You will report to the Manager, FP&A for Lifestyle Consumer Audio for the North America region.
 

What You Will Do

  • Partner with the Marketing teams on the coordination and preparation of the monthly marketing expense forecast submission and the annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain advanced financial models to improve forecast accuracy and conduct pre- and post-project ROI analysis. Identify opportunities and propose actions to optimize investment returns across projects and initiatives.
  • Act as a senior financial advisor to the marketing teams by providing financial insights for planning, obtaining proper approvals, tracking, and reporting. Lead efforts to improve profitability through data-driven actions and recommendations.
  • Lead monthly variance analysis of budgeted, forecasted, and actual financial performance, with a focus on interpreting and documenting variance drivers.
  • Provide business/financial in-depth analysis and support to management on issues related to marketing expenses (including but not limited to displays, media, online marketing, product/customer marketing initiatives and sponsorship/brand ambassador contracts).
  • Clearly and concisely communicate financial information and insights to non-financial managers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Collaborate with and support FP&A Manager in her activities, including strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
  • Manage and deliver ad-hoc financial reports, lead special projects, and provide additional department support as required.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant finance experience
  • Detail oriented, curious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter and able to initiate new ideas and improvements.
  • Ability to work with teams in a multi-location environment.
  • Strong analytical, written, verbal and organizational skills.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

What is Nice to Have

  • CPA
  • Experience with SAP
  • Ability to adapt to changing work priorities without loss of accuracy or time.
  • General knowledge of budgeting, cash management and financial analysis processes

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic and international travel.
  • Be willing to work 3-5 days a month in an office in Northridge, CA.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Salary Ranges:

$ 84,750 - $ 124,300
