Job Summary

Maintain safe and effective staffing levels for all inpatient nursing.

Essential Functions

  • Create and updates the daily staffing sheets in ANSOS. Covers daily staffing needs for inpatient nursing. Monitors employee call-in's.
  • Responsible for all staffing changes to be placed in ANSOS. Ensure we are staffed to matrix.
  • Makes phone calls to employees for staffing needs.
  • Oversees the daily activities of the staffing office. Provides daily assignments to the staffing secretary.
  • Enters exception log edits into ANSOS for payroll.
  • Assigns Contingent/Temp staff and Outside personnel to units as needed.
  • Attends meetings, compiles data for reports, assists Nurse Leaders and Office Supervisor.
  • Consistently adheres to Beaumont Customer Service Standard

Qualifications 

  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Years of relevant experience Staffing and scheduling experience Preferred
  • Scheduling Experience with ANSOS or equivalent staffing system Preferred
