Qualifications / Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Engineering Design Technology, or related. Employer will accept a combination of relevant academic coursework and work experience evaluated as the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.  Five (5) years of progressive work experience in developing High-Voltage (HV) dead tank circuit breakers.  Work experience to include: CREO 3D CAD software; Windchill software; ANSYS simulation software; SAP software; Power testing of dead tank circuit breakers; Dielectric testing and environmental testing of high voltage products; Simulation software for high-voltage and high-current interrupters to include: AMESIM or MC3; and SF6 and alternative insulating gases for dead tank circuit breakers. This position allows for a hybrid work arrangement.  Candidate may work remotely 2 days per week, within 30 miles of company location in Charleroi, PA.  GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
