The Chargeback and Membership Team Lead serves as a strategic leader overseeing the Membership and Chargeback functions that support commercial pricing and contracting activities across multiple business units. This role drives operational excellence by guiding a team of analysts, optimizing processes, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of membership and chargeback data that directly impacts revenue performance and customer satisfaction.

The Team Lead partners closely with Commercial, Pricing, GPO, and Distributor teams, serving as a trusted resource for membership reconciliation and contract execution support. This individual is recognized as a role model who inspires excellence, fosters collaboration, and cultivates strong cross-functional relationships. A deep understanding of the product portfolio and the operational landscape is essential to effectively guide initiatives and ensure accurate contract administration.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Membership and Chargeback team, ensuring strong execution of commercial pricing and contracting activities across multiple business units while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying and championing opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation; leverage data insights to shape recommendations and lead the design and implementation of enhanced workflows and solutions.
  • Oversee the governance, development, and continuous refinement of policies and procedures, ensuring all documentation remains current, compliant, and aligned with evolving business and regulatory requirements.
  • Direct the end‑to‑end management of customer membership placement, ensuring accurate alignment to GPO, distribution, rebate, and other agreement structures to support contract integrity and pricing accuracy.
  • Lead the oversight of chargeback adjudication processes, including resolution of data discrepancies, customer master data creation and maintenance, and timely management of all related records.


 

Skills & Experience:

  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Advanced English Level
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Inquisitive, driven by data, and focused on results.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Results-oriented with the ability to initiate and lead projects to completion.
  • Ability to lead by example, with a "roll-up the sleeves", hands-on style that supports a culture of accountability.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in contract administration, business analytics or a related field is required.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment where a high degree of collaboration is needed.
  • Pricing, contracting, and reimbursement experience within the medical device industry preferred.
