What You Will Do:
 

Guidehouse is seeking a PM Technical Lead to join our project team in the Northern Virginia area. As the PM Technical Lead, you will work across a systems implementation team in the federal government to coordinate tasks in a highly matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Supports the technical development process by helping the related team members plan around the tasks at hand

  • Champions creative thinking and new idea development to adapt processes and generate new, viable options for clients

  • Working with Senior Executive clients and fellow teammates to help execute a mission transformation.

  • Collaborating closely with teammates and organization stakeholders to facilitate and execute client needs.

  • Work with technology and customer business lead groups to define project expectations, re-prioritizing when necessary.

  • Ensure coordination across cross-functional organization is happening, documented, and client leadership is included.

  • Document technical risks and issues, and actively work to avoid, mitigate, resolve risks.

  • Coordinate demos and meetings when required, including internal team prep sessions, client dry-runs, ancillary material development, etc.

  • Exemplify and reinforce quality standards in work products

  • Facilitate strategic planning, process definition, and/or business requirements gathering sessions with client staff

  • Develop presentations and brief clients as needed


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • SIX (6) years experience with providing project management support to the federal government


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and inputs

  • Experience building implementation plans to support Organization strategy achievement

  • Experience supporting an IT organization

  • Ability to make decisions at the project team level and properly escalate those decisions that cannot be resolved on a timely basis

  • Exhibits effective team/collaboration skills
