Base Salary Range: $105,000 – $120,000 annually

Los Angeles Convention Center located in the heart of vibrant downtown LA, the Los Angeles Convention Center is a leading venue for conventions, trade shows, and exhibitions. The center is committed to delivering excellent service and exceeding expectations for clients and guests at every event.
SUMMARY
Responsible for growing convention center revenue opportunities and maximizing occupancy levels by rebooking existing clients as well as winning new business. Candidate will work closely with LA Tourism on large citywide programs as well as secure local clients within a short-term booking window.
Candidates are required to develop and manage strong relationships with clients to position the convention center as a premier event location. Role requires strong partnership with internal leadership and other team members to develop and execute sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Additional Duties
Act as back-up to Contract Coordinator by working within the Contract Booking System software environment to support entire sales team. This includes entering event bookings, changes and updates, drafting License Agreements and Addendums, sending contracts to clients via DocuSign, tracking returns and processing final documentation.
Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned.
Perform other duties, special projects and responsibilities as assigned which may or may not be directly related to job specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree Area of Study: Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or related field.
Additional years of experience may be substituted for college degree.
Minimum of seven (7) plus years of related work experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hospitality field.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the Convention Center, Hospitality or Entertainment industry preferred.
Knowledge of Ungerboeck Systems Inc (USI) or Momentus Technologies preferred.
