Freddie Mac’s Enterprise Model Risk Management group is currently seeking a Quantitative Analytics Professional to work on validation of Investments & Capital Market (I&CM) models that support key business and risk decisions.
Freddie Mac is leading the U.S housing market forward by making homeownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable.
Responsible for validating I&CM Models that include interest rate, mortgage rate and derivative models per applicable Freddie Mac Policy and Standards and Regulatory requirements.
Effectively interact with team members of model validators as well as model developers and model users for model validations.
Perform thoughtful analytics to support model validation activities.
Research latest and emerging techniques to facilitate model validation.
Clearly articulate complex data analyses and research results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Write effective documentation to explain model validation testing and results.
Exceptional quantitative and analytics skills
Strong technical skills in processing data and programming
Rigorous attention to detail
Ability to learn and interpret new concepts quickly
Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate successfully with other team members.
Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to succinctly describe complex technical scenarios in simple, easily-understood terms.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $101,000 - $151,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
