We are looking for a talented individual who shares our values to join our team as  Shipping and Brokerage Coordinator.  This position is responsible for coordinating all necessary arrangements for the berthing, unloading, loading, and departure of company-affiliated vessels. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, including port authorities, customs, and shipping agents, to ensure seamless operations while maintaining administrative systems and adherence to established procedures. Ideal applicants should have experience in shipping, logistics, or brokerage, possess strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities, and demonstrate a solid understanding of maritime regulations and customs procedures.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Customs Brokerage Services – Ensure timely clearance of priority goods, prepare customs entries, and maintain accurate records.

Vessel Boarding & Coordination – Board incoming vessels, liaise with customs and port officials and prepare statements of facts.

Freight Account Preparation – Accurately calculate freight charges, prepare accounts, and inform shippers of rates.

Reports – Prepare and submit container and vessel movement summaries and reports in addition to container stock reports

Cargo Tracing & Documentation – Prepare, distribute, and respond to cargo tracers promptly. Handle claims related to cargo damage, pilferage, short shipments, and injuries involving stevedores.

Job Requirements:

· An Associate Degree in Business Management or a related field.

· A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the shipping industry.

· Proven ability to manage logistics operations and ensure compliance with shipping regulations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and shipping/logistics software.
  • Sound analytical skills with the ability to assess data, track performance, and optimize processes.
