Facilities Multi-Services Manager (Ridley Park)

We are seeking a 1st Shift Facilities Multi-Services Manager (Level K) to join our Boeing Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) team in Ridley Park/Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The primary area of leadership for this position is Building and Infrastructure Maintenance, to include specialized crafts (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, automotive, carpentry, metal working, boiler operator), and facilities analysts, custodians, and provisioning.

 

This role involves leadership, financial acumen, communication, and employee development skills. Our team performs infrastructure maintenance and repair, custodial services as well as manages supplier contracts for day to day operational support. These infrastructure improvements and maintenance projects support Ridley Park site production of the CH-47 Chinook and V-22 Osprey aircrafts.

 

This role is for first shift (6:00am - 2:30pm) and at times may require alternative hours in support of special assignments, manager coverage and training. Weekend rotations for coverage are also applicable. Schedule flexibility is required.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads employees & contractors within the facilities occupation (facilities planning, analysis, project administration, property administration, facilities provisioning and store keeping, construction, janitorial, and plant & equipment maintenance)

  • Primary area of leadership is Building and Infrastructure Maintenance

  • Develops and carries out project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and manages relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, business partners and employees

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers

  • Leads, coaches, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role

  • 3+ years of experience in an engineering, facilities and/or maintenance role in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience working with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams responsible for facilities analysis

  • Experience effectively managing team workloads

  • Self-starter; ability to drive a team with competing priorities

  • Mechanical, electrical, and/or technical background

  • 5+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading others

  • 5+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, and all levels of leadership

Shift:

This position is 1st shift. May require alternative hours in support of special assignments, manager coverage and training.

Summary pay range: $115,600 - $156,400
