JOB SUMMARY
The Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist is responsible for establishing credible and mutually beneficial partnerships with rare and chronic disease advocacy groups, identifying patients and caregivers for various story-sharing opportunities, and for contributing content to our online media platform. The Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist must be able to incorporate the unique patient/caregiver experience into the strategies and solutions we provide to our clients.
The Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist serves as the first point of contact for patient leads, which requires excellent listening and communication skills, and be able to develop relationships with patients and caregivers which convey compassion while maintaining professional boundaries.
Snow’s journey is centered around the patient experience and the Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist must be open, compassionate and sensitive to the unique life experiences of patients and caregivers. The Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist must be able to incorporate the unique patient/caregiver experience into the strategies and solutions we provide to our clients.
PATIENT PRIVACY:
The core of our business is working with patients. It is most likely that you will come in contact with personally identifiable information (PII) and personal health information (PHI) of patients living with rare and chronic illnesses. The Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist will be required to successfully complete and adhere to training courses which may include, but are not limited to:

REQUIREMENTS:
LANGUAGE SKILLS/COMMUNICATION:
Candidates must have the ability to read and comprehend general documents relating to pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry that include, but are not limited to, medical education, medical periodicals, clinical trial data, package inserts, medical procedures and industry regulations. Candidates must demonstrate their ability to effectively and professionally communicate with managers, clients, customers, patients, caregivers and the general public. Working with patients requires candidates to exercise discretion and empathy, as patients are living with chronic and rare conditions. Fluency in a foreign language is a plus.
REASONING ABILITY:
Candidate will be able to identify and define problems while applying proficient problem-solving skills by collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. Candidates will have the ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Candidates will have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral, diagram or schedule forms. Candidates will be capable of applying industry benchmarks to create standardized practices.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS:
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license. In some instances, a passport may be necessary.
