Job Description

The Manager, Anaplan will be a key member of the Data & Analytics team, responsible for the ongoing development, maintenance, and optimization of Anaplan models supporting Workforce Management, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Financial Operations (FinOps). This role will partner with business stakeholders to translate planning and forecasting requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions, ensuring accuracy, performance, and alignment with strategic objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the design, build, and enhancement of Anaplan models to support Workforce Management, FP&A, and FinOps use cases.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable Anaplan architecture.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing models, ensuring data integrity, performance optimization, and timely delivery of updates.
  • Drive Anaplan best practices, governance standards, and documentation across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to integrate Anaplan with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flows.
  • Train and support business users to maximize adoption and self-service capabilities within Anaplan.
  • Support roadmap planning for Anaplan model expansions and enhancements.
  • Monitor and assess system performance, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

SERVICE / PERSONAL SKILLS: 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, with strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analytics, or operational planning, with at least 3 years of hands-on Anaplan model building and administration.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting FP&A and operational planning processes, preferably in large, complex organizations.
  • Proven track record of managing Anaplan projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Experience with data integration between Anaplan and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, HRIS, BI tools).

EDUCATION/DESIGNATIONS/LICENSES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred
  • Anaplan Model Builder Certification required; Solution Architect Certification preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SQL or other data tools is an asset.
