Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing various components across systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with team members to utilize modern frameworks and agile practices, ensuring the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions that are tailored to meet specific business needs. You will also participate in discussions to refine project requirements and contribute to the overall success of the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Azure PaaS services such as Azure Web Apps, Function Apps, and Logic Apps. • Build and maintain C#/.NET Core Web APIs, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. • Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for application data operations. • Troubleshoot issues across application, integration, and infrastructure layers with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Nice-to-Have Skills: • Exposure to Operational Technology (OT) integrations using protocols like MQTT or OPC UA, preferably with platforms such as Litmus or similar edge/IIoT systems. • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks for data engineering and analytics workloads. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure PaaS. - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and services. - Experience with application development using modern programming languages. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development life cycle. - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure PaaS. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
