Job Responsibilities:

  • To be fully responsible for the overall development, operation and the performance management of employees of the VIP Services team at MGM Cotai

  • Establish a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationships; support Assistant VIP Services Manager with handling all guest complaints

  • Support Assistant Director of VIP Services with all aspects of the planning and development of the VIP Services team

  • Review all information pertinent to the day’s business and conduct daily meetings with departmental Managers and Team Leaders

  • Tour Floors, front and back-of-house, Lobby and Porte Cochère routinely throughout the day; audit staff adherence to Hotel policies and procedures in all phases of service and job functions; follow up with designated personnel where needed

  • Review and monitor departmental profits, payroll expenses, OS&E expenses, cost per occupied Room, previous day’s occupancy and revenues, and other KPI’s

Job Requirements:

  • 5 to 8 years’ experience in similar capacity in a 5 stars luxury Hotel, Resort or Casino environment

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above

  • Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin, proficiency in foreign languages preferable

  • Excellent knowledge of Opera, Microsoft Office and HotSOS.

  • Working knowledge of PC software programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)

  • Strong working knowledge of budgets, forecasting, profit and loss statements
