Nurse Flow Manager Perianesthesia – PACU

As a Nursing Leader within our PACU team, you will play a critical role in driving both clinical excellence and team culture. We are looking for a leader who brings strong interpersonal skills, a calm and supportive presence, and a passion for developing people.
The ideal candidate is someone who can balance operational leadership with empathy. We seek a leader who understands that high-performing teams are built through trust, communication, accountability, and meaningful support.
You’ll work alongside talented clinicians and interdisciplinary partners in one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers while helping foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
What You’ll Do
• Lead and support a team of nursing professionals in a fast-paced PACU environment
• Foster a positive, respectful, and psychologically safe team culture
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff through ongoing feedback and support
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to improve team performance and patient outcomes
• Oversee onboarding, education, and professional development initiatives
• Help create staffing strategies that support both operational excellence and employee wellbeing
• Coordinate care and unit activities across hospital departments
• Support a work environment where patients, visitors, and staff feel safe, valued, and heard
• Serve as a visible and approachable leader during both routine operations and high-stress situations
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field is required
Active RN license
Clinical nursing experience 5-7 years required
Hospital, managed care or healthcare process improvement experience 3-5 years required
Current PACU experience preferred
Management experience 2-3 years required
Preferred Certifications
ACLS preferred
BLS preferred
