The Opportunity

Join us at Hitachi Energy in Ludvika as a Logistics Development Specialist within our Power Transformer factory. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of driving continuous improvement across our Planning & Fulfillment (P&F) departments – including Planning, Work Preparation, Operational Purchasing, and Warehousing.

How you'll make an impact

• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives across Planning & Fulfillment departments.
• Analyze logistics processes using Integrated Transformer Management (ITM) and Lean Six Sigma (L6S) methodologies to identify bottlenecks and drive performance improvements.
• Develop and maintain process documentation to support long-term change and operational excellence.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to embed new ways of working and ensure team alignment.
• Support the escalation process within P&F to resolve operational challenges effectively and sustainably.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of improvement plans.
• Act as a change agent for digital transformation, leveraging tools and data to modernize logistics workflows.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• About 2 years of experience in manufacturing environments.
• Skilled in project management, continuous improvement, and business analysis.
• Proactive and flexible mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data analysis.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
