Philanthropy Analytics and Reporting Analyst

Philanthropy Operations Analytics and Reporting Analyst will work with the Endeavor Health foundations’ Philanthropy Operations team to prepare and analyze data to support the foundations’ efforts to drive philanthropic growth in support of Endeavor Health initiatives. Areas of philanthropic support include patient care, community engagement, innovative research, and training the next generation of clinicians and staff.

  • Required Travel: travel to other Endeavor Health locations may be required

What you will do:

  • Create reports, dashboards, and data analysis to support the foundations’ teams in their work, following and developing best practices for efficiency, processing, and data visualization. Ensure data handing is completed with discretion and aligns with best practices, regulatory requirements, PCI standards, HIPAA and privacy laws.

  • Monitor automation of classification and interests of donors and prospects across Endeavor Health’s philanthropic pipeline. Pull queries and reports as needed to build donor loyalty, such as first-time donor welcome series thank you calls and donor impact reports.

  • Assist with developing predictive models to support work across the foundations’ teams by analyzing data and enhancing models to make data actionable.

  • Support and develop new data models and data driven pipeline analysis to inform portfolio assignments and strategic segmentation. Proactively maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures to document consistent data workflows to ensure reliable outputs; train teams with ongoing updates. 

  • Provide data analysis to support prospect and donor segmentation plans, working collaboratively with fellow Philanthropy Operations team and foundations’ teams to inform moves management donor acquisition, renewal, and upgrade activity, including spearheading analysis and advising on campaigns to drive donors through giving pipeline, from annual giving donor to mid-level donor and beyond.

  • Assist in annual and mid-level giving A/B testing. Evaluate giving performance, trends, and opportunities within specific constituencies, segments, projects, and programs to make actionable and evidence-based recommendations.

  • Assist with production of outreach in Salesforce Marketing Cloud email platform and with mail and/or digital vendors through data analysis and segmentation. Assist in maintaining a proactive data hygiene plan, with routine audits and updates to the system.

  • Maintain and advise on scalable processes that ensure best practices in data integrity and cross-functional team data management to achieve targeted donor journeys such as mid-level giving, first time donors and messaging tracks.  

  • Identify and make recommendations on how the teams can improve data accuracy, streamlining, and analysis.

  • Other relevant duties as required to support donor development and outreach.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fundraising, Technology, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Certification: n/a

  • Experience:

    • 1-3+ years’ experience working with data to develop reports, dashboards, and provide data analysis in a consumer or donor centric setting is required.

    • 1-2+ years’ experience with Salesforce or other CRM reporting is preferred.

    • 3+ years in development shop or related experience and an inherent joy of working with data is a requirement to be successful.

    • Experience with data and/or statistical analytics tools, like Tableau, SQL or SAS is required. 

    • Experience or exposure to data modeling tools and techniques is preferred, specifically the ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

  • Unique or Preferred Skills:

    • Proficiency with MS Office is strongly preferred, advanced Excel is a bonus.

    • The candidate must be tech-savvy and be an avid learner with a keen interest in data, fundraising, nonprofit management, and donor relations.

    • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and with discretion.

    • Excels in project management: multi-tasking, goal setting, accountability, attention to detail and workload prioritization.

    • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to relate well to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

    • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and proactively address challenges in a fast-paced, emerging and changing environment with ongoing deadlines.

    • Ability to constructively accept and process feedback and a collaborative working style.

    • Continuously seek ways to improve processes, increase efficiencies and actively pursue professional development opportunities.

    • Salesforce NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud, or similar CRM experience

    • CRM Analytics or Tableau Reporting

    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar complex email marketing experience

    • Project Planning tools
