Role Summary:

Flowserve Corporation, a leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow management products and services, has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Intern. The position is located in Taneytown, Maryland and will provide exposure to all facets of the organization emphasizing on capital projects in support of engineering contractors and major municipalities across North America.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of technical tasks of limited scope
• Under direct supervision, assist site manufacturing team to develop Work Instructions
• Work with ESH team to develop ergonomic standards and safety lifting techniques
• Colloborate with other Manufacturing engineers to and multiple disciplines to assist in cost reduction initiatives
• Participate in other general duties such as 5’s and safety audits

Requirements:

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Possess basic mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Candidates must be available to work during the summer term, from May through August 2026 (estimated 10-week duration)

The pay range for this position is $20 hourly
