Job Description

Facilitate the process ensuring international export shipments from Medline US are accurate and on-time while coordinating with the US warehouse team, International Supply Chain team and external logistics providers. 

Major Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact of international shipments for all exports from Medline US and ensure issues/questions resolution.
  • Reinforce continuous improvement initiatives in international order and shipping processes.  Identify and escalate improvement and implementation ideas and strategies.
  • Oversee documentation needs for the department:

    ·        Work with internal/external partners to prepare commercial invoices and packing lists for all outbound / customer shipments

    ·        Work with freight forwarders on the logistics of shipments, reviewing accuracy of all customs documents

    ·        Communicate booking request with warehouse and freight forwarders

    Documents potentially responsible for: COO (Country of Origin) Certificate, SLI (Shipper's Letter of Instruction), SED (Shipper's Export Declaration), POD (Proof of Delivery) and other container declarations for certain countries
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to establish expectations and follow-through is being done on international shipments.
  • Partner with US Warehouses to prioritize shipping schedules and escalate where necessary to meet expectations.
  • Coordinate with Logistics providers and local warehouse on set shipping schedule and ensuring both parties are meeting the expectations.
  • Work with Inventory Management and Product Divisions on backorder resolution.
  • Work with Shanghai team on tracking orders and updating systems accordingly.
  • Report on order processing and shipping schedules as well as schedule calls.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$68,640.00 - $99,320.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
