What you’ll own as Site Reliability Engineer Specialist:

Infrastructure Automation:             

Design, build, and maintain Bicep templates for full Azure resource provisioning.

Automate the deployment of .NET applications, database projects (e.g., DBUp), networking components, and supporting infrastructure.

Manage, version, and maintain Infrastructure as Code assets following best practices.

Pipeline Development:

Build and optimize Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for .NET applications, database migrations, infrastructure deployments, and multi-stage release processes.

Implement advanced deployment strategies such as rolling deployments, canary releases, blue/green deployments, and traffic shifting.

Deployment Support:          

Act as a technical owner for deployment processes — quickly responding to and resolving pipeline or release issues.

Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to gather requirements and deliver new automation as needed.

Training and Mentorship:

Develop documentation, run workshops, and deliver hands-on training to internal teams, with the goal of building in-house DevOps expertise.

Establish and promote automation best practices across teams.

Nice to Have (Bonus Responsibilities):

Cloud Governance and Management:

Monitor Azure service health notifications, planned maintenance, deprecations, and service retirements, ensuring the organization stays proactive.

Implement basic Azure governance (resource organization, tagging, management groups, policies, access controls).

Set up and maintain Azure security monitoring and cost management tools (Defender for Cloud, budgets, alerts).

Help improve the overall security posture of our Azure subscription outside of application code (resource security, networking security, etc.).

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related fields.
• Deep hands-on experience with Azure, including Azure App Services, Networking, Storage, SQL Databases, Key Vault, Application Gateway, and more.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, primarily Bicep (ARM Templates experience is a plus).
• Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps (pipelines, release management, artifacts).
• Strong understanding of deployment models: rolling deployments, canary releases, blue/green deployments.
• Experience automating database deployments (ideally with DBUp or similar tools).
• Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for Azure infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Strong communication skills and experience coaching technical teams.

The SysOps team is a dynamic team comprised of Architecture, Cloud Engineers, QA Specialists, and Developer Specialist.  We focus on providing automated solutions for our cloud environment, support product reported incidents to provide Architectural Solutions, and implement Engineering roadmap initiatives. We are a highly skilled team that works collaborately with all Scrum Teams, Architecture, and Product.
