We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Change Control and Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and controlled release of data pipelines, while also providing exceptional support to our internal data consumers. You'll be responsible for managing the change control process, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting any issues that arise with our data infrastructure.

About You
Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document change requirements, including impact analysis, risk assessment, and change scheduling.
Coordinate change approval meetings with the Change Control Board (CCB), ensuring that all necessary documentation is available for review.
Understand existing data pipelines, architecture and facilitate discussions and provide guidance during change approval meetings to ensure a thorough review of change requests, including consideration of potential impacts and risks.
Plan, coordinate, and lead deployments of major product releases, and weekly maintenance and hotfix releases
Ensure all changes are documented, approved, and monitored appropriately
Manage change control process for development and release readiness criteria and ensure all changes meet criteria prior to deployment
Provide deployment instructions and provide guidance to Operations teams
Work cross-functionally with teams including QA, Engineering, PM, Production Support and Operations
Assist in the identification and mitigation of potential risks and issues associated with changes.
Act as a stakeholder for the configuration and maintenance of change request management within ServiceNow, ensuring that the system supports efficient and effective change management processes.
Monitor and report on the status of change requests, providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Continuously improve change management processes and tools by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Experience with specific tools (CI/CD, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Git, TestRail); Familiarity with ServiceNow or other change management tools.
Proven 5+ years experience in change management coordination, Release or a related role.
Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple change requests simultaneously.
Deep understanding of SDLC, SQA processes, and agile methodology
Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of ITIL principles and certification (e.g., ITIL Foundation) is a plus.
Other Qualifications
Strong understanding of data management, data governance, business intelligence, and analytics technologies and processes.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3, RDS, EC2, Snowflake, Databricks
Test automation experience
Experience automating release and build processes
Experience with Apex programming and SOQL
