The Mining Technology & Global Sales Support Business Resource team has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager.

The T&GSS Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading Commercial Deal Support, Technology Profitability Trends, and Period Cost Analysis. This position will partner closely with the T&GSS product group to support goal achievement, strategic focus, and profitable growth. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your work and impact will be highly visible.

What You Will Do:

• Support monthly financial reporting and analysis
• Partner with the business to provide deep strategic insights and solve challenges with a customer-oriented mindset
• Influence our finance culture by demonstrating desired behaviors, including but not limited to continuous improvement
• Create and utilize automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of consolidated financial results
• Drive business decisions through insightful analysis of customer needs and product profitability

What You Have:

• Decision Making: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; capable of accurately analyzing situations and reaching productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools for financial reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations as well as read, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
• Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation

What Will Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's degree within Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
• Financial Reporting & Analysis experience

Additional Information:

• This position can be located in our Tucson, AZ or Peoria, IL offices
• Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify
• Sponsorship is not available
• International and Domestic travel up to 10%

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
