The Manager, IT Transformation Program Enablement Cutover is responsible for the Cutover team and oversee the technical aspects of our SAP ERP transformation project (“Accelerate”). The Manager will be responsible for the information technology cutover team to develop migration plans into the current enterprise technology systems and assist in developing business interim processes to support the business in meeting their objectives during blackout windows. The Manager will also lead and manage the hyper-care period directly following the system integration to support the business in stabilizing the business after the integration. They will partner and collaborate with executive leadership, Accelerate leaders, IT Service Delivery, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, Program Management and Supplier Management to lead the execution of the agreed upon program releases and implementation of the Accelerate vision and strategy. This is a highly influential role that will play a strategic part in aligning our global portfolio planning and execution activities across IT.
What you will do
· Responsible for the planning, coordinating, and executing the technical activities of the Accelerate program, including migration, upgrade, integration, testing, and go-live support of SAP applications and databases for E2E strategic and operational business processes across Stryker divisions, plants and geographies.
· Define, develop and implement cutover plans for the migration of business units to the enterprise systems.
· Collaborate with other project managers, business analysts, developers, and consultants to understand the business requirements and provide technical solutions that align with the project scope and timeline.
· Contribute to the development of the technical cutover schedules and plans to ensure they align to business cutover plans and meet business objectives
· Provide technical leadership to developer team members on projects to support project delivery and ensure timely service delivery and cost effectiveness.
· Responsible for planning & managing solution delivery deliverables along with SI’s, business and PMs for each program release.
· Demonstrate ability to cope with growing complexity and creativity in design by thinking outside the box.
· Build strong partnership with cross functional teams including IT technical & functional teams, Business functions, PMO and System Integrators.
· Helps to establish deployment metrics and ensures each division, function, and region are measuring pre and post “Go Live” success metrics.
· Works closely with IT Service Delivery teams to ensure implementation of post-production support model and processes.
· Identify opportunities to improve the systems process flow, performance and technical efficiencies. · Develop and build robust integration with Infrastructure, Security, Governance, Service Delivery, etc.
What you need
Required:
· Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study
· Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience deploying or delivering global programs
· Minimum 5 years experience in people management and development
· Experience and demonstrated understanding of global system rollouts – strategy, planning, vendor selection and implementation planning
· Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP transformations, including migration, upgrade, integration
· Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
· Strong knowledge of Excel Advanced, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Access DB, MS Project Suite (MPP/Visio/etc.).
· Demonstrated strong communication and influencing skills – oral, written, listening, executive presentations.
Preferred:
· Master’s degree in MIS, MBA or related disciplines
· Extensive knowledge of medical devices and/or pharmaceutical industry and basic knowledge of adjacent areas in terms of processes, organization, products and IT requirements
