External Referral Program

We run an External Referral Program for non-employees to refer talent to us. If we employ the referred person, the referrer gets:

  • $1,500 credit towards a hipages (AU)/ Builderscrack (NZ) tradie or

  • hipages will donate $1,500 to a deductible gift recipient registered charity on your behalf or a

  • $1,500 gift card

  • You may also choose to split between a combination of the three options to the maximum value of $1,500

This referral payment will be applicable once the hired referral has been employed by hipages for 30 days. Proposed charities are first checked by Finance to ensure they are legitimate DGR and that donating to them won't negatively impact the hipages brand. 

Our Program

If you don't work for hipages but know how awesome we are and also know someone who you think would love to work with us, refer them and if they are hired, you win $1,000 to donate to a charity of your choice* or use towards hiring a tradie* through our platform!

Should we hire them, we will be in contact with you to let you know and find out which prize option you want.

*Terms and Conditions:

  • Any people leader who refers a candidate to their own team will not be eligible for the bonus payment.

  • Any person who refers a candidate to another team and remains part of the interview/decision making process will not be eligible for the bonus payment.

  • Payment will be made at the successful completion of 6 months of employment.

  • If you leave hipages Group prior to your referral’s completion of their 6 months of employment, you will not be eligible for the referral payment.

  • Charities must be an officially recognised non-profit organisation (an ATO/IRD endorsed DGR).

  • You have 12 months from the date of your referral to organise tradie services from a current hipages tradie.

  • This program is not open to Recruitment Consultants/consultancies.

  • You may not refer more than four people in a 12-month period and cannot receive more than two prizes.

  • hipages Group complies with all applicable taxation rules in Australia and New Zealand.

  • You must be an Australian or New Zealand resident.

  • The Refer a Friend & Win program terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.

  • hipages Group reserves the right to refuse any prize allocation if we feel you don't qualify.
