We are seeking a strong leader to drive our Seafarer Recruitment and Cadet programs, foster collaboration, and deliver operational excellence.

Reporting to the Head of Marine People Philippines, you will:
Lead and inspire the Recruitment and Cadet team to deliver timely, compliant, and high-quality crew placements.
Design and implement recruitment strategies aligned with Maersk’s business goals.
Build strong relationships with maritime schools, manning agencies, and industry stakeholders to sustain a robust talent pipeline.
Use data insights and market intelligence to enhance sourcing effectiveness and anticipate future crewing needs.
Mentor and develop team members to build a motivated, high-performing workforce.
Oversee candidate assessment and selection to ensure alignment with Maersk’s values and competency standards.
Manage departmental budgets, compliance, and reporting, ensuring operational excellence.
Represent Maersk in audits, meetings, and external engagements within the maritime community.
Drive continuous improvement across recruitment processes and candidate experience.
Proven track record in seafarer recruitment and talent management; sea-going experience is a plus.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Effective bilingual communication in English and Tagalog.
In-depth understanding of Philippine maritime crewing laws, industry practices, and global standards.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions.
Proficiency with modern recruitment platforms and digital sourcing tools.
Established network within the local maritime industry.
