This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will support the design, development and fabrication of space launch vehicles and components to support human spaceflight programs. This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication, organization, planning, and asset management skills. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Special Mentions

  • Shifts available:
    • M-F 7am to 4pm
  • Interviews will include a technical assessment
  • Occasional Travel is expected, up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform Asset Tagging in operational areas.
  • Perform audits of operational areas of asset tagged equipment.
  • Cross train in Inventory and Receiving Support.
  • Review and process scrap.
  • Generate and perform cycle counts to evaluate compliance to process, ensure inventory accuracy and identify root causes of variations.
  • Safely and securely handling hardware with a forklift and/or pallet jack.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2+ years warehouse experience including handling, inventory, property management and handling of energetic systems, hazardous waste materials and raw metals.
  • Experience in Logistics, Transportation, and Shipping aerospace hardware.
  • Mathematical skills including calculating percentages, area, circumference, volume, and conversion of Units of Measure and Weights.
  • Ability to safely drive a forklift and perform elevated work.
  • An attitude of world-class quality, attention to detail, and dedication.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Analytical skills to define problems, collect appropriate and relevant data, establish facts, and draw reasonable conclusions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, medical or military environments.
  • NPMA certification or desire to obtain.
  • Experience handling and managing government property.
  • Experience handling and managing customer property.
  • The ability to work independently.
  • An Associates or Bachelor’s degree
