To support our rapid growth, we’re seeking a dynamic Client Executive, Private Equity 

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Client Executive is a quota bearing sales executive responsible for growing contract revenue across both new and existing members in the Private Equity Account space. In full alignment with the VP of Sales, you will prospect within named Private Equity portfolios to generate new business opportunities, while assisting with assigned Account Executives to up-sell/expand revenue across existing members.  

In this role, you will collaborate with and support the VP of Sales and manage Private Equity relationships, building and executing complex sales strategies and initiatives across the PE Firm. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow new and existing named Private Equity firm accounts – build and implement a strategic relationship with the Private Equity firms to assist in drafting strategic sales plans to identify key opportunities and the steps necessary to drive success 
  • Drive sales plan implementation using a data driven approach across their Private Equity firm accounts, building and accelerating pipeline volume and sales cycles across the Private Equity space 
  • Cultivate existing relationships and establish new ones to maximize new business development 
  • Present the CoreTrust story and value proposition to potential new members via conference, webinar or travel when required (up to 50%) 
  • Manage and execute upon sales pipeline, demonstrating organization and submitting updates through Salesforce 
  • Identify Private Equity white space across the portfolio and build a plan to penetrate the space 
  • Successfully partner with Account Executives, Sales Managers, Sales Operations, and Product/Sourcing teams to assist with closing large complex opportunities 
  • Oversee the preparation of necessary data and reporting, reviewing and analyzing for accuracy and goals, and providing strategic direction to achieve desired results 
  • Communicate information relating to sales activities, and business issues to senior leaders in a timely fashion for input and guidance 
  • Promote use of sales teaming and executive calling in support of your sales efforts 
  • Provide leadership necessary to maintain a motivated, productive, and competent team through open communication and delegation of responsibilities and authority 
  • Serve as an escalation between the Account Executive, Product and Member Success teams and the Private Equity Firm when necessary 
  • Build and maintain long standing relationships with both customers and supplier partners 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 7+ years of experience in a strategic sales role with proven success in closing 
  • Achievement focused, demonstrating persistence in overcoming obstacles, identifying and acting on opportunities, and setting and achieving challenging goals 
  • General or adjacent understanding of private equity, real estate, investments and/or finance 
  • Significant strategic sales experience at the C level 
  • Familiarity working with CRM software, preferably Salesforce 
  • Strong proficiency in working within Microsoft Office applications and mobile technologies related to job functionality 
  • Experience working with brand image and promoting value through customer experience 
  • Adaptable to feedback and changes in the work environment, customizes approach to best fit the challenge at hand, and able to manage competing demands. 
  • Exhibits strong listening and comprehension and expertly expresses ideas and thoughts verbally and in writing, keeping others adequately informed.

  • Builds rapport and establishes trust with clients by asking questions to discover business needs and taking a consultative sales approach, presenting solutions that meet and exceed member expectations
