About the Role
Provision of a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Ultrasound imaging service to the patients of St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne and St Vincent’s Private Radiology.
Perform all Ultrasound examinations, to the highest standards of quality and care, demonstrating extensive knowledge of ultrasound imaging.
Demonstrate a wide variety of examination experience and clinical skill in Ultrasound imaging.
Participate within a multidisciplinary team to provide an efficient service optimising patient care and safety, ensuring operational targets are met.
Assist in the daily workflow of the area and ongoing service delivery to ensure clinical and operational efficiency and patient safety.
Classifications for this position will range from SO57-SO65 ($102,091.60 - $136,203.6 per anum pro rata).

St Vincent’s Medical Imaging (MI) provides four comprehensive diagnostic imaging programs across three campus sites.
St. Vincent’s Private Radiology (SVPR) is a co-located comprehensive private radiology service providing imaging services to St. Vincent Private Hospital, the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and private outpatients.
The Ultrasound department consists for 4 diagnostic rooms and performs a wide range of general and complex examinations such as abdominal, musculoskeletal, vascular, obstetrics and procedures.
